Install Fest Saturday @ My House @ 1:00PM

I say 1:00PM, but the last times I mentioned 1:00PM people showed up as late as 3:45PM. It's a Saturday thing I guess?
Wait, what if I mention 11:00AM? That might work out better I think. So yeah, plan to be here at 11:00AM. If you're usually on time then plan to get here at 1:00PM. I will be working on my car at like 11:00AM anyway, so it doesn't matter when you get here.

Oh yeah, did I mention it's me and Krepoort that will be working on our rides? I have my front camber and my idle to fix and Krepoort has his fog lights and headlights to aim. I only have two spots in my garage and it's going to be cold outside, so I don't think anyone will want to work outside. I might get done early though, so someone else could technically get something done.

Anyway, I've got a few beers layin' around. No, not that one O'Doule's POS beer. So if you'de like to work on cars or you want to drink some beers then come on over. PM me if you need my address.

This is cutting it close for me in a couple ways. The CD player that I bought is enroute from Ohio. I just checked the tracking number on www.ups.com and it left Columbus, OH at 3AM. I wonder how long it will take to get here. If I get it on Friday then I'll be all set to install it on Saturday (with a little help from y'all). Also, on Saturday I'm going with a friend into Boston to get her belly button pierced. I wouldn't be able to get out to Grey's until 2:30 or so. Oh, and then I'm going to the Tom Petty concert that night in Boston at 7:30 (drinking and eating beforehand around 5:30). So yeah, Saturday is busy. I guess I should wait to see if I'm even going to have the CD player for Saturday. I'll get back to you later.

It's not a huge deal installing that thing, so we should be able to do it pretty quickly. That is if Honda doesn't have freaky installation accessories to go with that thing. Like a relay, a different harness, programming the ECU? Who the hell knows what else? I installed my aftermarket one and it was basically just plug and play. Hopefully the Honda one is just as easy. PM me for my address if you need it.

Oh yeah, I'm sure I'll be done with my shiznut by 2:30PM. If you come by at that time, then there should be a free spot in my garage for your car. We don't want to freeze to death. --brr-- cold

Sure, why not. We'de need a hoist though. Or... If not a hoist then we'de need to dig a hole in the ground. Hehe, that'de be funny. You need to work on the car from underneath. You need to support the engine on one side from underneath and you need tounbolt one of the engine mounts (the one on the tranny). At least I think there's an engine mount there? Anyway, then you need to unbolt it from the engine. You'll need a new gasket. Oh yeah, we'de need to remove the linkage to the shifter before that. The hub too, on the passenger's side. We'de need to disconnect it from the struts. That's about it though. We'de need a hoist an an engine support and some air tools. I have the air tools. Actually, two supports. One for the engine and one for the tranny. I know almost exactly what needs to be done, but without a shop I couldn't do it. Well, unless you like my diggin' a hole idea? I'll be there sometime around 1, probably a little after 1...I'm all set right now, but I think krepoort needs to get ready still...that is, unless he's doing installs in his PJ's

I need to fix my horn - she shorted out last night

Aw, your horn blew out? That sucks. Man, I went to sleep almost as soon as I came home and I slept for like ten hours. My head really did hurt from watching Nemesis in the first row. Oh well, all better now. I didn't get the lime yet, I still need to shower. If someone can go grab some lime on the way up then that'll be k3wl. If not, then oh well. We can go grab it later.
