hey all,

I am starting to plan/organize a ski trip sometimes when winter is full blown. Anyways, I posted the thread in the Mid-Atlantic forum since thats where the idea first started.

please contribute your ideas, and hopefully we will see many of you there.

PS - im sure you can take a shuttle from boston or something like that to one of the mountains that were going to, so you might not have to drive to NYC to participate. ill keep you posted on that tho, since i havent researched it in depth yet.

I don't know if I could bring myself from New England to the Tri-state to go snowboarding, but if you guys decide to to Killington or something I'd be down for shizzy!

its actually smugglers notch. its in VT.

grey, the place hasnt been decided, thats why i said that everyone is welcome to contribute to that thread. since this is open to all of you guys also it would be good to hear what you have to say (but say it there so everyone hears).

i dont know about going up all the way to VT since many of us are gonna be from ny/nj area. its a little far. but who knows...this thing might end up being a whole weekend event (simplySLB is getting info from some company) so if thats the case we might end up going farther up to someplace in VT or NH.
altho, if we go to VT i would rather go to mad river glenn, or stowe, or mt. snow, or jay peak, or sugarbush. those places are probably better than smugglers notch.

So go contribute your ideas!!!

anywho, we are gonna pick a place where buses go...so i doubt woodstock, VT would qualify.
right now the ideas being thrown around are:

hunter mt. (ny)
mountain creek (nj)
mt snow (vt)
windham mt. (ny)
jay peak (vt)

were trying to keep it pretty local to the NY/NJ area since were most likely gonna take a bus out of NYC. but i was thinking that if we decide on a bigger mountain you guys can take a bus out of boston or somewhere in CT for the CT people and we can all meet up on the slopes. but post your suggestions on the other thread!!! please!
