Just thought I'd throw out the good news to my fellow NE peeps, my car is officially done and ready for pick up! My check cleared this morning, so I'll be stopping by the shop and picking my baby up! 21 days later and I'm back to the old schedule...and I saved a heck of a lot of money to boot! Time to pay off some debts and maybe give a little back to the girl that I love...hmm, what to get, what to get...maybe that tach I always wanted? Or perhaps....a little INITIAL D DVD action???

damn...good news and bad news...good news is, I got the car. Bad news is, there's a chunk of paint taken off the hood, I guess from being on the lift. And the car needs an alignment.

Luckily, the guy on duty knows about it, and I'll be seeing them tomorrow about it. And I have a friend that works at the local Toyota dealership that's going to give me an alignment, so it's all good...minor setbacks, but the important part is that she's back in my hands...

(*&#^%(*@$^%*&@$ the owner of the shop won't repair the paint, since no one will own up to it...so now I have to pay another 200.00 to another shop to get it painted and matched to the car...and that was only having been to the shop for my first accident, and them giving me a break for the paint! It would've been 400.00 for the total job. I swear, when it rains, it pours...[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] MAN I'm pissed.

What? They messed it up and they won't fix it? Tell them you have pictures of when you delivered it into their hands and that the hood did not have that when you delivered it, but did when you took it back. You still have the pictures, right? How bad is it? Take a picture...

but then again, if its gonna cost you 200 to repaint it, maybe you can find a CF hood thats a reasonable price. dont have to paint it, its light, and its a gift for your "lady friend" (thats kinda sad tho dude....) Well, looks like the cf hood is out of the question. And basically it's going to be their word against mine, so litagation is out of the question as well...I'll just have to suck it up and pay the 2 bills to get my hood back in working order...sux, but as my brother said, "Sometimes it's not who's wrong or right, it's what can be proven..."
