Looking for a place...
...where I can go to learn drifting. Right now I've just been pushing it on the on ramps and off ramps to highways, but I need a place that's pretty wide and devoid of people. Anyone know of a place, or maybe a time where and when I can do this? Maybe someone would like to come with?

So you want to drift, eh?
I know of one good road here in Millbury which is not traveled at all and it has some decent fast curves. Another place that might be good would be around the Mt Wachusett (sp?) area. There are a fair amount of roads that are quite windey (sp2?) since it is a mountainous area. Same with the Berkshires, out in Western MA. Maybe the West MA peeps could help on a few of those. There are a ton of roads everywhere, it's just how you want to tackle them and how to avoid things like traffic and cops....

That place in Millbury sounds good. We'll have to drive out there one of these days so that you can show me where it is. If it's close enough and nice enough then I may use it. I just want a place that I can go to whenever I want to practice. Maybe at night is the best since it's easier to see oncoming traffic. Well, that is if they've got their lights on and the exits to the corners aren't hidden. Yep yep. I'm thinking about driving 24/7! I'm going bonkers!

Yeah, Initial D has gotten to me big time.
Initial D
I'm on the 2nd Stage now. Episiode 6. It looks like Takumi might lose for the first time to a Lancer Evolution. Bunta wants Takumi to lose so that he can upgrade the engine of the AE86. He wants Takumi to learn that you need horsepower to win a race as well as driving skill. I can't wait to get home and watch the next episode!

Dang it! Kazaa was acting up last time I had it installed...gonna try tonight when I get home tho...
I need those durned codeks! Oh, and is there anything I can do about my second cd-rom drive? It seems that every time I use Windows Media Player, the dang program will search on the CD-RW first, and it'll just hang forever...I haven't installed the drivers since I don't know which is the right one....I need to get that drive disabled somehow, save going inside and pulling out all the cables for it

Well, computer problems aren't always what you think they are... I'de have to come over and check it out to fix it. Sounds like you need the proper driver to be installed though. Then it won't hang or anything. We can probably check what kind of a drive it is through the BIOS.
