Dude, see if you can fabricate it out of some mesh from Home Depot first! I did mine and it looks great and only cost me some time and 5.00 worth of material....I'm not sure how it would work on a 7th gen, but considering I paid 120.00 less than the grillecraft, and that I did it myself, it was totally worth it...

Yeah, on the 7th gen it's kinda hard to do. You'de have to cut out the middle part and the H and then cut out a piece of the mesh and fit that in. Compound angles make fitment a biotch though. You could also just take out the stock upper grill (the one with the H in it) and then cut out some mesh to fit that. That would be easier. For examples look at ALLMAN's ride.

Sounds good - I think Kev (krepoort) is going to do his foglights this coming weekend...I'll check out how everything is put together then and see if we can put a custom grill in your car...

What's the plan exactly though? Are you going to make one that sits in front of the stock grill? Are you going to make one that sits behind it? Are you going to take out the stock upper grill? Are you going to turn that into one that looks like a 6th gen grill? IMO you're better off either buying an RS grill, or the GrillCraft grill. You see, the GrillCraft grill is the wire mesh, but it's also welded onto a thicker wire that holds it together and makes up the outline of the grill. That's if you want the grill to go in front of the stock upper grill.

Bah! Have you no sense of adventure? lol, just playing - yeah, the only thing that's bad about my grille is you can actually see the plastic fins and spot where the 'H' was behind it...but I think it's better like that because since it's a DIY and not integrated into the actual frame, someone can push it out and reach your hood release. So it's a tossup between spending more and not worrying about the issue, or spending less and having the fins still behind the new grille. I figure it's a good substitute if you're on a budget and still want the look.

Well I would still want to get this done for the fact that I want the look. I'm not too worried about someone reaching up in there because a friend of mine (from ClubSi.com) is going to help me relocate my hood cable... So even if you did reach under there, if would be rather difficult to unlatch the hood...
I'm also going to be doind a push button start...

Push button start! That's what I want. I'm going to buy the button out of the S2000. Not sure of the mounting location yet. Probably somewhere near the ignition key.
