Um, I'm coming from Virginia Beach, not NoVA. It's going to be at least a 6 or 7 hour trip for me up. Hell, even coming up to Maryland last year was over a 5 hour trip for me that I made up and back same day.

taz - im from connecticut and i drove 10 hours down to maryland last year... that included 2 stops to meet 7thgenners and one hour long stop for some car emergency stuff... AND I DID NOT COMPLAIN ONCE! it was soooo much fun with all the civics and meeting the new people...

and i PROMISE (to those who know about last year) i WILL NOT drink any alcoholic beverages... at all... i swear...

but im in... and im bringing a friend of mine w/ me so ill have some company cuz i dunno whose going from around these parts... and ill get lonely on the drive...

and has anything been updated about the booking of hotel rooms? last year i got lucky and found some people to room w/ last minute...

5 hours, 45 minutes for me. Hmm... Kinda closer I guess. The drive down wouldn't be as bad since I know not to take Rt. 91 if I can avoid it. hehe... Rt. 84 is the bomb! Anyway, it's a while away. I'de like to make it if I can, so I'll try to keep my calendar free on that day.

its ok if youre not feelin the drive taz, but, just think of all the fun you'll miss! plus, we will be getting a bunch of people together on rooms and you can split the cost with them. im not going to pressure you into coming, but i do hope you can make it!

Oh, don't worry about it. I just have a feeling it's going to be a hella long drive all by myself again this year. 5 hours up and back in a car all by yourself is very borning. I tried to get up early enough to catch the DC crew, but that's a 3 hour drive north all by itself. By the time I got up and whatnot and on the road, I had missed them. I'm still definately planning on coming and I've got it on the calendar.
