FS: KONI Yellow Adjustables<< SOLD

-Brand New in Original Packaging
-Never have been installed...0 miles on them
-Complete with all hardware/instructions needed for installation and adjusting
-I have the newly designed rear perches, so no problems will occur in the back.

You can get full coilovers with tokico shocks for $650 shipped so $500 for just shocks isnt too appealing in comparison....

Rep Power: 413 Koni Yellow's are one of (if not the) best shocks on the market... They are highly regarded in all automotive worlds, not just for Civics. They are perfect for someone that needs adjustability for road racing or drag racing....
Just want people to realize that these shocks are actually worth the extra money.....

Yes, these shocks are nice, but for the cost factor, like the others said the deal is on the coilovers. A lot of people can easily swap in the coilovers, but the shocks take some more to do. Not only do you have to buy the springs, but you then have to augment the strut to it will fit with our cars (ie cutting OEM strut assembly). I've heard that this can be a real pain in the ****. Finally, it will be a real pain to get back to OEM if you want to cause you have cut the OEM strut housing.

These shocks are not even in the same league as coilovers.... They serve completely different purposes... You are comparing apples and oranges....
Talk to any SCCA racer about Koni Yellow's vs those coilovers....
Coilovers for daily driving around town and for giving the wonderful ricer look? Yes.
For road racing and drag racing.... No.

My point was, the average "tuner" around here isnt going to spend $500 on shocks when they can get coilovers for $650, which is more appealing for *most* people.
I would wager a guess that 80% of the civic drivers buying Koni's are doing so because they got lowering springs and blew the stock shocks.
Just as a side note, the leading "race" suspension for civics right now is the JIC Magic system, which is a coilover.
But it's also $1800.
I wasnt dissing the shocks, just explaining why no one was "jumping on them"

Cause if you look at race cars/ drift cars alot of them use Full coilover sets.. which is what we are talking about. Hayame or Teins.
