Angry Rusting Problem

So have you guys worked on your engines lately. While struggling getting my header on I've noticed that a lot of / most of my bolts are rusting. These bolts have never been touched and are rusting. I would expect some of the ones on the underside to rust from the snow and salt, but these are covered bolts. Why are they rusting? Does Honda use cheap bolts? My buddies VW is older than mine and he doesn't have this problem.

Yeah, have you ever washed your engine bay? My sister just recently washed her engine bay and she's got a newer car than mine. Her bolts are way more rusty than mine are. Actually, mine aren't even rusty. They've got that smegma covering to them though. LOL I was my engine bay from time to time though. I reccomend it.

ya I do wash the outside once a week, along with interior, then the engine usually once a month.
