Im for sure going to this one i'ts the day before my Birthday I won first in my class last year with my maxima!!. Bryan I got a question I just got my coilovers in the mail. Any tips on installing them i've never done this before and I dont wanna pay out the *** to get them put in so im gonna try to do it myself.

Also is it gonna be the volkswagon day like it was last year??

to save from renting or buying a set of spring compressors you can bust the retaining nut off the front strut before you take it off the car......and the back well theres not enough compression to even worry bout it.....

Coilovers didnt fit at all on the front and road like a big ol pile of it on the back so I took them off... Got pissed off and somehow wound up letting my buddy cut the factory springs. ( dont ask I didnt really care at the moment) I know Big mistake but its too late now so I've got to find some lowering springs soon. But i'm deaf. going sunday. So count me in. Also are you going to show? Bc I think i'm going to just for the heck of it.

damn man sorry to hear that.....I have never had a set of coilovers not fit..except on a Probe one time had to grind down the strut a little in order for the perch to slide over it.....well if ya need a set of srpings I have 1 set left letting go for 75.....also we are going to the rock tonite for the hot august import cruise......

I'll talk to you tomarrow abiut the springs. ANd thats what Was wrong with the coilovers. The perch wouldnt fit and it looked like it was the ones for the rear like they sent me 4 rears instead of 2 and 2.

Well to all of those who went, it was a alright show and race. I finished first in the 16.5 class in racing. Pretty damn happy too! Bryan's looked good, as always! lol Hope to see some more 2k1 or 2k2 out there next time. They are holding a big event on Oct 13- 14 I think. I'll be there for that race.

hey midvis, when i got my coilovers that's exactly what happened to me. They made them fit. It's only because in the new civics there is a mcpherson and a wishbone set up. in the old hondas they are all mcpherson setups. If you got those coilovers you probably didn't get the right kind.

Bryan- What kind of springs do you have? I saw your car at the show in Rockingham on Sunday, and I was looking for you but there were quite a few ppl around, I didn't know who was who, so i didn't say anything. Just tell me what springs you have and maybe we can meet up in Fayetteville some time, and I'll get em' from you. Also, like I said, you have my DADDY! hahaha.
