Florida Peeps, College Question.

Whats up everyone. I will be down in Florida for about 2 weeks in June looking at colleges. I was just wondering what colleges I should be checking out while I am down there. What are some of the better schools down there (acidemically of course) I plan on studying Engineering and my best ACT score was a 33. Can anyone give me some suggestions? Thanks

BTW, these are the other schools I am looking into:

U. of Illinois Champaign-Urbana
U. of North Carolina Chapel Hill
Duke U.
Washington U. StL
UCLA

The best engineering school at any state university here is at USF(that's actually the reason I go there majoring in Electrical Eng.)
That's Univ of South Florida to you. Tuition's not bad, don't know about room and board since I already lived in Tampa, so I stayed at home.

USF

Thank you all very much. I have added USF to my list since I will be around Tampa anyway. My parents will be living in Fort Myers so that is not a bad drive at all. Thanks!

Actually, Guido, Tennessee took the #1 spot this year. But FSU is still #2.

I'm going to FSU next year for a political science major (at least for now).... but UCF in Orlando is a popular choice around here. There's around 40,000+ students and we're well known for our computer science dept in particular. It's not too hard to be admitted for the standard enrollment, but they do have an honors program you could probably get into.
good luck with your choice
