I've heard mixed reviews about Hocus Pocus. One Honda mechanic I talked to told me that Hocus Pocus was good for suspension work, but for anything else there are better shops you can go to. I had Hocus Pocus install my Ground Control coilovers, Koni shocks, and Ingalls camber kits a few months ago, and they did a decent job. I haven't heard much about their engine work, but they do feature one of the fastest all-motor Civic hatches that regularly kicks butt in a lot of the national import drag races. The driver of the hatchback (Cotorres Gee) is the same black guy that you see working the counter/phones during their normal business hours.

The last time I tried to call them (about 2 months ago), I got a recorded msg saying that they were closed about a week for renovations. Not sure if they're still located at their old shop (HEB shopping center, Bellaire west of the Beltway) or if they moved to a new location.

One shop that a lot of people have recommended for motor swaps is Jisatsu Racing.
