Aloha, my first post!
im installing a sub and amplifier in my 21 sport hatch. I want to mount the amp and LC2i either between the spare tire and hatch floor OR
in the place where the subwoofer would be if I had an EX.
Is there a useable space inside the pillar since I don’t have a EX subwoofer? Thanks in advance for any tips.

I have a feeling the aftermarket components will be alot bigger than the factory ones.

I was personally thinking about getting a small powered sub to fit under one of my front seats of my 18 sport hatch.

I heard this one fits well and sounds pretty good:
Otherwise, if you want to make an enclosure that takes up the same corner where the OEM sub sits, that's a viable option, too. it does eat up some cargo space though. You would need to modify the spare tire cover so you can still access the spare

Thanks for the pictures. I don’t think I could use the factory woofer spot. Probably not enough space.
I have a Stinger MT7001 amp it’s like 9 by 11 inches. Both fit in the false floor on the left of the spare. I’ll put the amp in the left corner under that flap.
