Re: Radio upgrade for HB LX
kinda depends what other features you want. I've seen some where people have retrofitted the OE stuff, while other have gone aftermarket.
There's one complete replacement unit from Phoenix automotive, but read kinda hit or miss things about them. Overall, not bad if you want an OEM look though.
Myself, I've been looking to the aftermarket for a replacement head unit, particularly looking at lists like this. I tend to stick to major brands, but there are a lot of high rated android head units from brands that come off as "I got this off amazon and it has some weird name." I have read good things about Pioneer and Kenwood units. I haven't quite settled on any head unit in particular, though, so I haven't taken the plunge into changing all that out yet.

Thanks for the info. OE would be good, I just want apple CarPlay, back up camera, built in microphone and a bigger screen. There’s a lot of choices out here just need to make sure it’ll work without issues. I’ll update once I get it. I find it kind of hard to find fitment information on the web, I think it’s just me though.
