Hi, open to the forums' opinion on these pretty flashy wheels. I'm using them for the winter, so it would get covered in dirt/salt. I tried my best to "photoshop" them over the OEM, so lighting and angle is as good as I can simulate. I've attached the before (with OEM) and after (with bright wheels overlaid).
Wheel and tire specs:
- BMW wheel, matches FK8 bolt pattern and larger 74.1 mm CB
- 19x9 +48 offset
- weighs 34 lbs, compared to OEM 29 lbs
- 245/35R19 or 255/35R19
Should I do it -- Yes or No? Thanks for your opinion.
Re: 2020 Civic Type R, Boost Blue - 19" Wheel Opinion
I mean, you do you, but I wouldn't if it were my car. Not my style, kinda gaudy imo. If the gold was black with blue accents or if they were full on bronze (though, I'd go with a darker bronze on the boost blue), then I'd do it. That, and you'd be going to a smaller wheel (this in itself isn't a bad thing) that's 5lb heavier per rim.
