Wasup guys...Just thought we should start a new thread...since we got the new year ahead of us...

Bobby or Hotek...u ever gonna put a kit on your rides...? Maybe if all 3 of us buy something at the same time from someone...we can work out a discount...I'm just throwing out an idea...cause I wanna get some sides and possibly a front lip come March...cause I'll have to have those so I can get everything painted along with my eyebrows...

im not sure if i want to get a kit yet.. but if i do, i'll probably get the new 03 aero front and sides and the OEM rear lip. but my 2nd choice is the full kaminari lip kit. so im not too sure yet

Platnum, I am not looking at getting a kit. And good luck matching your silver for a kit. I hear that Honda Silver is hard to match. But when you get ready let me know and we can see what Flexivity can do. They have done a lot of 2001+ Civic kits and they get them painted and installed.

well...isn't part of the deal of takin something to be painted also to be that it matches up with what the customer expects?

I'm not gonna shell out a possible 300-something or more dollars just to have the place tell me thats as close as they can come...I think I'm gonna end up going with the RS lip from ebay...runs about 130 shipped usually...and get the oem or new aero sides...I'm not so sure I'm gonna even bother with a rear as of now...If I spent the money...it would be oem or aero...

when i had my stuff painted, the shop used paint from honda. he even showed me the can and it had the honda logo on it. if the shop cant match it, tell them to fade it into the rest of the car.

Yeah, Flexivity ended up using Honda paint ont here kits as well. When I was in the shop they were all like...This freaking silver does not match up! Then I told them that a lot of people have that trouble and they send them to Honda to be painted now instead of who they were using.

So I'm having second thoughts now...I'm thinking screw the kit...prob just drop the car an inch...get sides only and add some sidemarkers and the eyebrows...I don't wanna spend all the money for a front lip and rear lip...but I think the OEM sides will make a nice addition...but hell...my mind might change in 5 minutes...

I think if you only get the sides it is going to look ugly its going to look like a truck with running boards. go with all or nothing i like oem kit it looks real smooth

Yeah...I wanna see a coupe with just the sides too...Some chick had a red 6th gen with rims at my apt last year...I didnt think it looked bad at all...I think if anything sides would look ok by themselves...some people who've put on a bumper or added a front lip IMO makes their car more offbalance...

but to each his own...

I used to see alot of S-10's / Sonoma around with just the front bumper and hated it. Actually i still see a few around. Makes the front look to big without anything else.

I got am goignt o pick-up my front strut bar for the hatch today. The rear made such a big difference I said i have to get the front too. I think I will get a price on the Eibach Pro-kit too.
