back to the hood?

jesus. i moved out 3months ago from one of the downtown ghetto areas where my parents lived. when i moved out i was looking for a nicer place where my car wasn't going to be constantly victimized, but i think i have found worse. i moved to our north side which is being developed all the time, it's called castleton and sits right next to our big rich suburbs like geiss (where most of our pro athletes reside) and carmel. the area is beautiful, the roads to downtown are huge and it makes the commute easy, but the people are terrible. all the people around where i live, and the people i consequentially run into all the time either at traffic lights or stores, are almost all stuck up *******s. beyond the general population being stuck up, when i was driving down the road that leads to my apartment (its a wooded lengthy straight road), i notice a old beat up pickup truck racing towards me at god knows what speed with its lights off. i swerve off the road, it ramps over the railroad tracks, makes a nasty sound as gravity returns it, and low and behold about 3 HU's fall out of the back of the truck and smash over the road. i get out and look at em, all very nice motorized faces, one was even an lcd screen, the truck didn't stop when it lost its treasures, it seemed they were just worried about getting away. i ended up dropping the busted HU's off at the apartment office incase they were repairable, but it just makes me pissed that i move out of the hood to get away, but i find the same problems. only difference? people in the hood weren't stuck up ******. once my lease is up i anticipate moving back downtown, even though the scenery isn't as nice atleast the people in the community aren't *********. anyone else had this 'moving up' issue?
