I have finnally got my dream... I bought my own Subaru WRX STi... 300 Hp of pure turbo muscle hhahaha.... EVEN though i am a DIE HARD 7thgen FAN, i wanted to ask this forum an inportant question!!! Which car that is out now, which can and will run circles around my Sti????... and my secound question to alll is, if i can beat my buddy'z EVo 7 that he is gettin this saturday in performance wise...I have read all the articles but i jus want to hear some opinions???thankx 7thgeners... an yes i still have my civic.. that baby is my everyday car an sti is just my toy on the weekends....

Mannn they both are nice cars... but i love the handling on the STi and in my opinion i think the Sti looks much more aggressive...but what do u guys think??? WHatz my compitetion???

hell naw, i cant drive that around to harper..i got it like a few dayz ago, an if u go to harper you know that people who park next to you have no sence in parking... Thatz why you find big *** dents in ur fenders and such...Come look at my civic, i already got 2 dents in my back bumper and one big *** one in the front, i have to take it some place to get that fixed coz i have to get rid of this car soon.... I'm thinking about bringing the sti to class next monday..i heaar the weather is pretty good and i only have one class so i should be out fast..Another thing...WINTER IS COMMING Up!!! Sti only comes with STOCK SUMMER RADIALS!! MANN i hope those will help when there is 3 feet of chicago snow!!

Well I think if you find an RX-8 with a good driver you'll have yourself a good race in anything other than a straight line..... The question about the EVO is all driver dependent. If you're a better driver than your friend you'll probably beat him, but if he's better than you he'll probably beat you. That match up has shown in numerous competitions already its very driver dependent

That STI will kill a RX-8. Those things are pieces of ****! That is why madza is buying them back. They are a over rated POS!

Again you put the same driver in an 8 and an STI and put them on a road course they might be pretty even. Mazda is buying them back because of the increased emissions gear they had to put on the 8 the hp rating was 8 hp less then stated. Drive one they're not as big of a piece of **** as you may think. But that's your opinion I guess.

In my opinion, i'm a pretty good driver.. I have takin on many cars, most turbos... And still havn't had a decent race... They all kept up with me untill about 3rd gear, then i pretty much had them in my rear view. I have done two main mods since i got it a week ago, i have put in the HKS SSBOV, and the HKS Catback Carbon Fiber Exhaust. I have ordered my Stage 1 Comp Chip from Visnu motorsports, they say that the chip should give better gas mileage and better low and High End torque.. I'll be the judge of that when i get in by next week.. And as for me parting my civic, i'm goin to wait till like Feburary to get rid of all the main mods such as my Apex1 N1 Catback and my Intake.. i am not goin to be selling my DVD/ Navigation because that will be taken off my civic and in the Sti tomorow. But other then that, my civic will be striped... Check out my memeber ride page and see what you guys are most interested in getting. I'll be sellin them real cheap....My tails and projectors will be also for sale, I will trade my DIY Blk headlights to anyone that is willing to trade me stock headlights... I have no clue where woodfield is, but I should be into Chicago (Addison) early next spring to pick up my new rims and tires from a shop there. I'll look you up. Like I said we'll just go for fun. From a dig you'll get the jump I can tell you that now. Like I said I'll pm you when the time gets closer but for right now it's just too cold for my wankel

Will do. Like I said it'll be next spring when I come the first time but I should be there ever few weekends just for random visits or whatever so we'll try and hook something up. I haven't run an STI yet, and I'm sure by that time you'll have some more mods done. What shop do you go to for your work or parts? If you need a good one PM me and I'll give you a contact for the shop where I take my 7. They're awesome guys and really know their stuff.

Hell no man, i got an auto coz at that time, my sis was sharing the civic with me... I had an 93 Nissan 240SX 5 Spd... MAN that was the good times... I learn on that car and drove it around for about 3 years.. then i got my civic, i was kinda bummed out that i couldn't get the manual but my sis had no clue how to drive stick... I had the 240 wiht me for about another year after i got my civic but then stupid shyt started to happed like the clutch got messed up and the engine kept over heating... So i sold it to my friend for 700 bucks and modded up the civic.... I shoulda kept it an ran it as a winter car... OHh well, those were the dayz lol...
