Acually I've found alot of 2000 SI's that are bone stock. Just have to look on ebay, they are there. I'm wanting to find one for about 10,000. I'm a Jr. in H/s so this will be my college car more than likely. My project! I have about 2000 in the bank as of right now...I'm just gunna keep saving, I don't want to get a loan quite yet. If any of you have msn I'd be happy to add you. When I get my car and need anything installed, I could get ahold of you. I like working on cars, but i'm kinda a newbie when it comes to installing stuff....oh well, you gotta learn sometime.

well if you get a car off eBay you realy really really gotta check it out, since oyu car see it in person. keep in mind that the Si is basicly the cheap sports car for teenagers and sad to say (me still feeling like a teenager tho im 21...) we dont take the best car of cars as far as the transmission (on m/t's), brakes cause we go fast, and other stuff too. sometimes its hard to tell if a car has been 'played with' if you dont really look.
how about this - if you decide you want soem or have some ideas for cars on eBay, link them here and Ill look cause I was totally into getting one of those before as well - and I really tottally did not want one that anyone had done ANYTHING to, otherwise you might feel like poaser(sp?) or you didnt do the work yourself or somthing. It always has seemed more fun to me to know that I put on the intake or bodykti or exaust or whatever.... makes you feel like a guy to get dirty adn say you did it your self.... or at least shelled out the $$$!!!!
Like I mentioned before, I would most likely help you totally for free just casue I love cars! Im no expert either, but I feel that Im rather clever. I have installed several intakes, changed oild on all kinds of cars, changed brake pads (assuming I can get the damn bolts off).... and just generally keeping the car super duper clean. engine, outside, inside, everything. im so **** when it comes to cars! maybe I have a problem!

If ur ****, I'm sure we'd be great friends. My dad drilled it into my head the first day I got my car. If I don't keep my car clean he said he would take the keys away. I'm sure he would never do that but I like a clean car anyways. Sure as of right now I have a 1988 Pontiac LE with 89,000 miles on it. It's a piece of $%!T but its a clean piece of $%#@, thats for sure.
Yeah thats not bad, I'm hopin when I sell it I can get 1500 for it. Might be hard but with all the stuff that needed fixed, plus the deck and speakers thats prolly how much I've spent. Paid 800 for it

Welcome to the Iowa chat room, haha. I don't really get on unless I have something to say and Dr5D is the same way. If you have any questions, I check this whenever somebody says anything, it lets me know in email so just ask away.

^^^heh, I just know IC for the college drinking!
Do you really suppose its worth the $??? You could get a paint job or something that people would actually see when you drive, or some things to make you faster - unless your going to shows I just don’t know how practical lamo doors would be.... IMO

I have just heard probs with the doors when putting them on and stuff - and if you did get something like paint or tint or somthing, people could see it all the time -- not just when your getting in and out
