vtec??? b18c1 swap boosted

At what temp, and rpm does vtec pop??? jus curious because i went out for a spin this morning and something didnt sound right around 4200 rpm....so any imput???

vtec engages, it doesn't pop. And the oil has to be almost at operating temp, not sure on exact temp.

And it engages via oil temp and pressure, but this is set at a curtain RPM, which can be changed and is different on different engines.

pretty sure gsr vtec kicks in around 4400 stock ?
