98 civic dx, what mods should i do?
Hi everyone. I'm a new member. I just bought a 98 civic dx 5 speed stick with 80k.
. Now its time to make it faster and better looking. I am not into the ricer scene at all! I love the jdm scene and I some what admired the hellaflush scene but would never flush my car. Now, 107hp is not enough power, so what do you guys recommend I do first? Please keep in mind im in college, I make decent money delivering pizza but I'm certainly not swimming in cash.... Also, I've had a Mazda Mx-3 and a 92 civic before so I have some experience working on cars. just not ek6's.

I guess nobody wants to answer this one because it gets asked fairly frequently... but I'll give it a shot.
If you're rocking a d16y7 then more power in the most $$$ efficient order...
1) engine swap
2) mini me swap y8 head on y7 engine
3) various bolt on mods I/H/E that basically drain your bank account and only physiologically make you think it's faster.
as for better looking... whatever your flavor and budget...
The order I would do cosmetics....
1) window tint
2) rims
3) polish/wax
4) fuzzy dice on the rear view (or maybe a bobble head on the dash)

I bought some skunk2 lowering springs, oem fog lights, hids, roof rack with basket, some cool decals, plasti dipped all the chrome for good measure and getting tint soon. I'm saving up for a very unique and rare v6 swap or maybe even a rwd swap. most likely v6 though.
