so i recently bought a manifold for my 98 civic (d16y7) from fb market place(guy had a 5th gen) and it has a two bolt flange to connect to the rest of the exhaust pipe but everywhere online theres a 3 bolt flange on the end of the actual exhaust pipe that goes to the manifold, did i buy some jerryrigged manifold? missing a piece? or do i need to just by a new flange for it that i can weld on?

i just want to do this the best way for the car and not have a whole mess under there especially if i got the wrong parts, thank you in advance to anyone who has any insight on this

Exhaust is for a y8 with the cat under the car. That's why it's different. And it wont be the right length. An exhaust shop can make it work for you
