***Poll*** which exhaust should i get? Please read info!!!
I'm in burbs 2. Where you at ? I've seen ..ah shiet forgot where, blue or black 7th gen, with carbon f. hood and some black wheels. Hm..was it on Lake Cook Rd or somewhere around there...
no problems at all.........the only slight problem i had was when they came they had a couple marks where the stamp cut out is located where the louvers fit.....but that is getting sanded out and will look perfect..........but when they arrived they had a perfect fit.....or so says my body man who obviously does this for a living and is very reputable.......Ofcoures i'll have to add that i purchased the metal fenders.......i know it adds weight but they were an amazing fit and they look cool as all hell i'll post some pics............and also thanks man for the tcs advice......im def going for it thanks again....if you need a good link to buy from for the z3s lemme know

i like a custom, mathmatical exhaust; buy the exhaust flange (they sell them everywhere, i seen one on e-bay last week for $15.00), find a good pipe mechanic, buy a high-flow cat., and also maybe a resinator, and a muffler (skunk2, tannibe, mugen, spoon, etc.) and do it right. get an exhaust pro to do it perfect!!
hey civicking, can u go into details for the custom way....cause i am very interested, i have a skunk2 universal and the guy who did the welding did a **** job, could u gimme some suggestion and the price range...thanx. sorrie and what is the resonator for? will it be louder without it..sorrie about the dumb questions.

OK...Injen, I did a "semi" custom setup. It's fairly inexpensive, but sounds awesome, a lot of people on this site, who's heard my exhaust will agree. It's nice and deep, and when you pass about 4500 rpms, it's more intake than anything else. I love my setup. From Nopi.com, buy the Mozart rear-section, made by Konig. Then go to optauto.com and buy the Toucan T-304 stainless steel, mandrel bent midsection. The whole setup will only cost you about $350 and it sounds awesome, no raspiness at all. The rear section also comes with a silencer if you don't want noise for those long trips. Definately my strongest suggestion. Good luck.
problem with greddy is that it is a very heavy exhaust, it adds weight to the car...all of them are about the same performance wise, 2-4 hp im guessing is all you get...go by weight, sound, and looks

Tanabe is proven to be the best performer, Greddy and DC Sports are fairly heavy but sound pretty good. It's all taste, but Tanabe SRM is the best for gains.
