I've got the stainless Neuspeed cat-back. Get people coming up to me all the time asking how I got my car to sound so good. It's only a little louder than stock and seems to really help out on the interstate... don't have to downshift to pass ****'s anymore. Overall, I love it! Downside is it's heavy as hell... but I suppose all real full systems are heavy. Really a great performer. Oh, and you want more intake sound... well, all I can hear is my FIPK2 until around 5 grand... then the two hum together... love it!

Rep Power: 0 btw... I may be looking to sell in the near future if anyone is interested. The wifey wants to trade in the Civic to either a buy a Tiburon (I'll kill her, but it's got a V6) or lease a BMW 330i (would nearly double our current payment).
If she talks me into it, I'll be selling my Neuspeed, FIPK2, and strut tower brace. Oh, and I cleared my headlights, too, so if someone local to me wants cleared lights but can't do the work, I'd consider offers for them.

Rep Power: 0 I love my HKS, and wouldn't change it for anything. I love the sound, not loud at all, unless you floor it, and it gives it a very Japanese sound. Nice and deep, and a sharp looking upward facing angle.

Rep Power: 0 The magazines that i have read that include dyno charts show that on our cars and similar vehicles there is minimal and most of the time a decrease in the hp. Is everyone here more interested in appearance or performance. Because a few hundred dollars for a hp decrease or as previously stated and not argued 2 to 4 hp is not worth it.
Also can any one explain to me why you would want a louder car. IMO I would rather hear my stereo system.

are you kidding me about the dc sports? i mean all that extra tubing with the weight damn, yea its quiet and probaly clean, but i dont see how it is worth it, also why did this thread come back hasnt the person who ever posted this made a decision yet?

oh my dear lord this has been brought from the dead 3 times. People I think he has already gotten an exhaust for his car by now. And if not I am sure he has made his decision on what he wants.

hayame!! what would you guys rate the hayame cat-back exhaust for da 01+ civics? how loud is it on a scale from 1-10? and where can you find the cheapest price for the hayame cat-back exhaust?
