Escort Passport GT-1 Vehicle Performance Computer

What's the verdict on this thing?

"Ever wondered what your car runs in the quarter mile? Want to know how much horsepower that cold air intake added to your road rocket? Wouldn't it be cool to know what kind of cornering forces your ride produces? Escort's GT-1 G-Timer measures your vehicle's acceleration, horsepower, cornering, and braking forces, and then displays the information on an easy-to-read LCD display."

It runs $150 over at crutchfield

You can get a GTech on eBay for $50-60. I did. They do the same thing.

GTech does:
0-60 times
60-0 breaking feet
1/4 mile time
horsepower
A couple of cornering G measurements that I don't understand.

And, there's a new one now that's like $200-300 that does even more stuff.

This Escort thing might be easier to use the GTech, since it has a better screen for displaying info.

IronFist- Has your Gtech been pretty accurate or was it a waste of money?

Apex'i RSM is alot better. It reads from the ecu, i think the g-tech just reads from its own internal G-sensor.
