loud intake

Does any one know who makes the loudest intake, they all probably sound the same. But is there one out there that stands out above the rest.

I think the loudest for our cars is the SRI FIPK from K&N. It has the best gains (supposedly) then any other SRI as well.

the FIPK is definitely the best PERFORMANCE-wise, but almost everyone says they prefer the sound of either the injen or the AEM--at least that's what i've seen people saying since i joined the site

Just take your intake resonator out and buy a k&n drop in filter!

Just take off the intake completely. Put a piece of jersy knit cloth over the throttle body and duct tape it on there to hold it on and keep it from getting sucked in. This is the loudest.

Ps. Just kidding
take off your resonator box and it will be loud as hell. The loudest intake system I have heard is AEM SRI.

Or it makes perfect sense... the filter is the part that makes the noise basically. SO.... in an SRI, the filter is about two feet closer to you than in a CAI. The actual intensity is probably the same, but the relative intensity is higher with the SRI.

Get a canister SRI. Those are really load I used to have one on my old car. They are just as loud as if you take off the resonator box on the stock intake.
