best parts for our cars?

Hey guys, just wonderin about sum parts i should get 4 my 01 ex.

I have K&N FIPK II intake and that's about it ... lol

I need headers, and exhaust. I'm pretty sure about the tanabe for my exhaust, so as of headers, I dunno which ones to get. DC seems popular but I don't know, the ports are pretty small, so I dun even know if getting them will do anything except for show.
anyone got recommendations for headers (disregard price range)

Then I was thinkin about cam gears, AEM ones are good?

Besides those, I dunno what else I can do without screwing up my engine. NO turbos or crazy stuff till after my warantee expires^_^

Ppl suggested pullies too so I may look into that.

If anyone has other suggestions post em or email me or msg me on AIM: chocobo152000

thanks guys!

dude i would save your money, but you asked a question so i will answer it.
header=HP
Cam Gears=AEM (there are much better ones out there but you can't beat the price of the aem ones)
and ", I dunno what else I can do without screwing up my engine. NO turbos or crazy stuff till after my warantee expires^_^" the cams, intake, and exhaust will void parts of your warrenty. Please correct me if i am wrong.

Exhaust: Tanabe would be your best choice for a cat-back.
Header: HP w/ Hi-flo cat or Kamikaze. But replace the cat also!
Pullies: Unorthodox has had good reviews. Look into them.

hmmm..I have the DC header and I love it..But b4 you do the header or exaust you obviously need the CAI.

So as I was saying, I have a DC header and TCS cat back...I'm getting the racing cat and having a high flow downpipe made. Then I'll get the throttle body bored out (that could be a warranty issue).

Basiacally, anything that doesn't involve opening up the engine shouldn't void the warranty, at least that's what I'm told. My dealership doesn't care one way or the other.

AEM are the best cam gears and pulleys available mostly because they've been around for so long. I've had my car since November 2000 and have spent alot of time looking for parts.

The HP header isn't bad..but..I've seen a couple of them delivered with nasty craftmanship. The DC gear fits beautifully...Plus, all 4 of the top import shops here recommended it for the D17.

Just my opinion....Good Luck!

dont get any header.

I havne't seen a worthwhile one yet.. that'll bolt on easily and not give you any problems (like throwing a CEL... check engine light) and etc.

just get the tanabe and call it a day.

dont waste money on the pulley too.

the only time a part can void a warr, is if something with that aftermartet part caused the prob

Tell me that this doesn't look like it bolted on well.

My engine light never came on.

Exactly, a wreck won't even void your warranty as long as the problem was not related to the wreck. My dealer told me that when I brought my car in.

thanks guys,

I'll look into HP headers since that seems to be majority opinion. getting AEM cam gears for sure, and tanabe cat back (i heard the clips of the tanabe another member posted, sounds damn good!)

why doesn't greddy or apexi make headers for our cars? are there any reputable brands that make our headers?

anyway...gotta go look at prices...^_^

Kamikaze is supposed to be pretty good. I heard DC doesn't do anything at all except add aesthetics to the engine bay. HP has good reviews also seeing it also comes with a hi-flow cat. Then you have a complete hi-flow exhaust system.

You can thank Fly for those clips of Tanabe. I debating whether to sell my GReddy or not since I have heard his.

Headers. I don't know if they sell hi-flow cats or not.
