Hey All...
I want to get this but I am not really sure if it's a good deal. What do you think?

After triple checking with my honda dealer this afternoon, I will be ordering an ACT HDSS Clutch with their 11.9lb Street Flywheel in about a week. Check out http://www.lakeeffectperformance.com for some good prices. AFter 26k miles my clutch is even more tired than when it was new. I need something with a bit more bite on takeoff and a bit more feathering capability and the flywheel will help with freeing up some revs. I am looking forward to it. Anyone who has driven a true performance car knows what a clutch SHOULD feel like, not what our econobox clutches feel like...
even though it won't ultimately help performance, it sure will make my car more fun to drive....
Edit : as a side note, this is the same setup AdamOSU has on his ride and he has a good review of it on the boards here

Or if you have the $$, you can get a JUN ultralight flywheel, like me
As this product is identical to the one for the earlier civic, it was the 1st MOD JUN used on their 2001 civic.
Call them for it (562) 424-7828
My set up is a ACT XTSS w/ a JUN ultra light flywheel And boy is it SWEET!

you can shop around & get it cheaper, but i got the flywheel for $450 & the ACT clutch for $ 350.
Agreed a stock clutch han handle more than an NA engine will put out (w/ o NOS) but it will give you quicker shifts due to the reduced marcell & stronger pressure plate. It's also gives you way better feel while shifting (knowing the engage/ disengagement point allows you to not depress the clutch more than required, resulting in smoother, more consistent shifts)
