How much HP will I get?
How much HP will I get?
I bought a AEM short ram intake, DC sports headers, Apexi N-1 cat back exhaust, AEM pulleys, AEM cam gear, and a venom 400 control module. I have a 2001 Ex. Anyone have any suggestions for other bolt ons?

you don't really know unless you dyno it but i say around maybe 15-20 HP at crank. For the pulleys i suggest you get the crank pulley from UR or else your AEM pulleys won't add much at all. Cold air adds more then short ram...DC shorty header i suggest you buy an aftermarket downpipe with it. I think the Venom 400 control module is a waste of money. hope this helps

I would say 20-25 hp to the wheels if you get it dyno tuned. Other people have made similar gains.

5-10hp. Air flow bolt-on products don't do much in our cars.... yeah blame that plastic intake manifold of ours.

Air Flow products work great on any car, most of the time, it's our faults for not getting the air to the "air flow product". We either shove it in a little hole with almost no airflow at all. Short rams work fine, if you have a proper hood scoop, or working air vent in your hood. It's all about gettin the air to the intake.

Sorry, we either:
1) Shove it in a little hole with almost no airflow or,
2) We stick it on top of our engine, where the air is hot, and litterally very little air circulation.

I'm not an expert at tech, but from what i've read this seems to be our "barrier".
Can't wait to see a dyno with that thing!

I already have an i/h/e. I am hoping the intake manifold will add good gains. Maybe get the Gude bored throttle body as well, is it worth it? My friend and I are supposed to hit up a shop for dyno tuning sometime in the near future but not yet, we dont have one in MS that I know of have to go to Louisiana. First I want to get some UR pulleys, AEM Cam Gear, and ECU.

I would suggest selling the Venom 400, that box sucks, get a VAFC. My friends 2000 SI ran .4 seconds slower with the 400 on, and my other friends 91 frankenstien(boosted, b16 head, ls blocked) integra almost lost a whole friggin second. Ive heard alot of bad feedback as well, that it fights the computer and basically f's everything up.
