j/k, it's aight, but I prefer the Injen Race Division CAI because it places the filter in the bumper.
As for power. I raced a 2001 civic EX with AEM CAI against my 2001 civic EX with Injen CAI and he gained about a half car length right off the start, but by the top of 3rd gear I started to pull on him and passed him. I had about a car length on him by the time I reached the top of 4th.

Rep Power: 0 AEMcivic I don't mean to start a flame war but unless you dyno the intakes you can't base the performance of the intake just on racing in the streets. There was an article in Honda Tuning magazine that showed the info pertaining to the performance and specs of the intakes.(I'm sure its to an RSX though)

Rep Power: 0 I agree with dat. Its just too small of a difference to be noticed in racing, unless it was a 1/4 mile or something maybe. Much of it is up to the driver. (Don't mean to flame either, but this is my opinion)

Rep Power: 345 hmm. I had an InJen SRI..
then an AEM CAI replica...
they both sound very different..
I THINK, the SRI is louder... but the CAI has some more funky tune to it... I think I like the sound of the CAI better...
but it was like 8,000 miles apart since I used the SRI... so I can't be too sure.
I duno, aftermarket intake takes away what little precious torque this honda has... can't stand it.

Rep Power: 0 this thread is gettin lame.
bottom line, you wont notice any real difference other than looks between the INJEN cai and the AEM cai. Yes, the INJEN sits lower in the bumper and gets more true COLD AIR, however, unless you put it on a dyno, you wont notice anything. even on a dyno, it will still only be a fraction of a difference in HP.
