I got a 05 ex been thinking about trying to get a little better sound out of it wondering if anyone out there has some suggestions on some setups that they are running or have seen that are pretty good that don't cost a arm and a leg. I know it's a bit of a stretch for that last part haha

I was gonna suggest the APEX'i world sport II for the D17A2. Had one on my 2002 ex and it sounded amazing. Zero drone, loud enough to make it known you had something, but not like the typical "angry swarm of bees" that D-series modding usually gets. It was a nice low rumble with zero rasp. Back when I got it (circa 2004) I paid like $500 for it. Cheapest I found on a quick search was $716 from summit racing

edit: just for some credibility, I had people that hated rice rockets and said my car sounded really good.
