Does anyone know what the normal short and long fuel trims should be?... both mine are not osloting ..just sitting at -9.... also "pvc" is about to hit max fail.... and first coil is missing every now and then... both 02s are osolating to gather .SLOWLY so catalytic is shot.... I need to register soon.

Fuel trims: up to around 20% before codes set. It it's within that range with no codes set then the computer is in control of the fuel delivery.
Cat......the rear sensor is supposed to swing very slowly. The PCM will decide when the cat is bad, as long as it does not have any fault codes that could affect cat operation and monitoring (there are many fault codes that would suspend the cat monitor).

Mine are sitting at -9.2 for 2006 civic ex long fuel trim and-9.6 for 2009 civic dx long fuel trim. I was getting cel after cleaning throttle bodies on both cars and got my ecu scan tool out and got a P0113 code and a P0102 code.I found out these came on after disconnecting MAF sensor in air filter box. I cleared the codes and everything is ok. I found those long fuel trim numbers on scan tool too. Mechanic on web says any long fuel trim less than 10 is good positive or neg.Plus numbers are adding fuel for a lean situation and negative numbers are lowering fuel for rich situation. I think it's like that but I might have worded it wrong. Go online and see video about fuel trim numbers and it'll tell you everything.Or look at scan tool readings and how to interpret them.Good luck!!
