Hello I have a 04 Honda Civic EX and was just wanting to get some opinions on a good muffler or exhaust system that is not to pricey to just make my car sound a little better and help out with performance. I can't seem to find nothing but fart cannons, I really don't want to be one of those guys lol.

"Not too pricey" is a relative term. I hear good things about Magnaflow but it runs over $500. I also hear that if you can get a custom one done at a shop for cheap you can go that route, but get a nice muffler or you'll regret it. Personally, I'm looking at the Magnaflow. Price doesn't necessarily mean quality, but it can be a good indicator.

If you don't mind the cost, the A'PEXi World Sport II is pretty nice. Chambered muffler, not terribly loud, 60mm piping from the cat-back.

just looked up that exhaust, and holy crap, the price hiked up a hell of a lot since I picked mine up. Nabbed it for about $500 brand new back in 2005.. thmotorsports currently sells it for $734 x_x

Also, if you can find one, the RS*R exmag-II was really nice, a popular choice among us 7thgen folk. Seems kinda hard to find, though, I haven't looked for one in quite some time. Also a chambered muffler, nice quiet, but mean sounding when you got on it.
