Hey all, I am new to this forum, I have an 01 civic LX sedan, the car has high mileage but I want something to do so I am looking for a new air intake,
Muffler(deep sound, not raspy) and headers. I'm looking for somewhat cheap parts but things that actually work. I'm looking to spend around $500 or less, thank you in advance.

For $500 your probably looking at used parts. I have an Injen cold air intake on my 01 got it used for $100 on eBay. You can go with a cheap intake, they are all about the same. For headers I would convert to an Ex setup or buy just an exhaust. You can get an Ex header from a junk yard and buy a random tech cat. If you buy a header you will lose your cat so your going to have get a new one welded in or buy a random tech one. Basically that's going to be the most expensive thing because your cat is integrated into your exhaust manifold. I have a HKS hi power axel back with stock headers and piping and it has a nice deep sound to it.
