Spark Plugs - Short Ram intake

I have a 2003 DX, thinking of getting new spark plugs - what brand is best?

What is the most I should be expected to be for a decent short air intake?
What kind of a performance difference can i expect?

The original plugs are 100,000 mile plugs. (150.000km?)
The correct replacement plugs are also 100,000 mile plugs.
In reality, the original plugs will usually last longer than the car, because the precious metals in the electrodes don't wear and the gap doesn't widen (as long as the engine doesn't foul the plugs out).

what brand is best?

Denso (Nippondenso) or NGK, both are OEM brands.

The CORRECT plug numbers for that engine are
Denso: PKJ20CR-M11
NGK: PZFR6F-11

NGK is probably easier to get from local parts stores, the correct plugs can almost always be ordered for overnight shipment for no extra cost.
Don't let the parts store talk you into anything other than one of these plugs.
Stay the hell away from Bosch Platinums.

You can expect disappointment and money missing from your bank account.

You cannot expect performance from a short ram intake, unless you count noise.

I think an SRI cleans up the engine bay a bit and makes it easier to access ****..

Ease of maintenance, perhaps? No chance of the filter housing breaking from just trying to unscrew it?

Most of the time, a reputable service such as Alldata is relatively accurate.

What does your owners manual say about it?

I think ours is really 105,000 miles, not 100.
No idea what that is in KMS. I was wild guessing.

Plugs aren't affected by time, so I ignore that part of the maint suggestions for this item in the manual. The only "time" that affects them is hours of engine operation (miles).
