Alright everyone, I want to replace my old loud can exhaust with a like OEM replacement and was looking for your suggestions.

When I first got my civic one of the first things I did was get a custom exhaust put on. It was great when I was 17 years old. Now it's big, loud, ugly and now rusting as well. SO I was something similar to OEM but I don't want to spend an arm and a leg. The system on it now is custom cat back and the piping is in good condition just the welds near the muffler and the muffler itself need to go.

I've been looking around the web for a replacement muffler that I can have the shop install but what do you guys recommend??

did u have a resonator put on when u got your custom exhaust? if not id say try to find an oem resonator or just a universal one then an oem muffler. should sound close to stock. or you could just get an exhaust from bosal

check rockauto.com. your lookin at about 150 for a resonator and oem muffler

Yeah I had a resanator installed because I didn't want it to sounds like a bumble bee. Bosal is exactly what I was looking at but wanted to see what else was out there. And maybe put a tip on the end to make it look a little nicer
