Replacing Exhaust Manifild

Hi, I was told by the Honda dealer that my 2003 Honda Civic SI needs the exhaust manifold replaced. They want over $900 to do this. Does anyone know where I can find a good price on the whole exhaust manifold? I know a mechanic that said he will install for me but I have to find the part. I would appreciate any suggestions.

any cheaper and they'll be giving you money. Just beware that you get what you pay for. Why'd they tell you that you need a new one?? Did you crack it or did you already replace it with the ebay link listed above??

My emissions light keeps coming on and going on and they said when they put it on the computer the code said I need a new one. Said it was the catalytic converter but I have to replace the entire unit.
Thanks for the link to the website to see about getting a cheaper one

Re: Replacing Exhaust Manifild

Random Tech converter from Dezod is $410. Or illegally you could get the DC Sports race header that would replace your manifold and converter. It's $360 @procivic.com. Sorry, I don't know why when I insert a link it doesn't actually put a link.

If your car was an LX or DX you would have to replace the manifold, but not on an Si.

And a stock converter from Majestic Honda (hondaautomotiveparts.com) is $745. I personally would only do stock or a reputable aftermarket performance one unless you want to replace it again real soon.
