Re: Itb

unless it's a bad tune... and ITBs are last thing on a N/A build.... since you get a better tune that way with the right shop. if the shop cant tune, youll loose power. so be careful and good luck.. and i hope you build the motor first... get a b20vtec build with ITBs..

Re: Itb

Pretty pointless to get itb's on a non built motor with just an exhaust because the stock throttle body isnt restricting anything. Step back for a second- on itbs, the throttle bodies are individual- why?

Benefits:
Individual throttle bodies allow the engine to operate more efficiently by decreasing pumping losses to achieve more horsepower. The runner length can be tuned, injectors placed at optimal positions and angles, and air flow speed maximized. The system can be tailored to the engine displacement, compression, cylinder head valve train design.

A properly tuned system can dramatically improve throttle response and decrease intake tract restrictions to increase horsepower.

Re: Itb

so unless you can drop a clean 3gs on a motor to prep it... youre wasting money... so to me you only want the appeal... no the purpose.... pretty much all youll do is be slower than that guy in your town with a loud as muffler itake, and header... and you spent momre than him to look and perform possibly better.. youre better off buying a turbo kit and blowing your motor!!!
