Hi, im new here. I just bought a used 2001 em2 coupe EX. The engine is bone stock and I want to add more power to it while staying N/A. I dont have enough money to do a engine swap. Are there any parts for the engine that will add more power? thanks in advance

intakes, header and exhaust are good starting points for someone not looking to spend a lot of money on their car. you wont see huge gains from any of those bolt-ons, but they will give the car a little different feel. you can search on this site in the for sale section to find used stuff if you want to just try some mods out. as far as brands, you are going to get different answers from different people, just go with what you like.
instead of going for more power, which is hard with the d17, suspension is another option that will make the car a lot more fun to drive. you can also look at lip kits and stuff like that to make your car stand out a little more. not that the d is a bad motor, but it is hard to improve horsepower without spending the big bucks. if you are on a budget and looking to get the most out of a little, then i would consider a suspension first, intake, header, and then maybe exhaust. the intake, header and exhaust all flow pretty well for the motor as is, so changing them is not going to give real high horsepower gains.
i hope this helps a little and welcome to the forum.
