Question Custom Exhaust

I have a 2001 Civic LX D17

I am putting a custom exhaust on it from the stock cat back to a DNX muffler... I was wondering what in exhaust I should run. Whether to run 2" or 2.5". I am not really planning on doing to much engine work to it... other than maybe a minor bolt on here and there..

I think most standard mufflers are 2.25". I got 2.25"(i'm pretty sure) and I have a custom bent-pipe cat-back using a Buddy Club muffler.

Good luck man,
~Chris

the Majority of the axel/cat backs for the 7th gen is 2.25. If you have a turbocharger, then it would be 3 inches. I would definately stick with the 2.25, it has a nice sound to it, and allows it to flow. I have the HKS hi-power Muffler with a full 2.25 all the way through. I'll tell ya, when it warms up, it roars.

What everyone said, 2.25. My Magnaflow cat-back is 2.25 all the way and it sounds good
