This is going to get locked REAL FAST... but the best I've seen was k&n, injen, weapon r and aem v2.. The decision is yours check the threads to get your own opinion. BTW i have the aem v2 good product but buy a used one.
yep.. i got mine for a cheap price, and you would definitely like the SHOOOSH sound when ignition off.. but for gains, lol not much unless you have some mods on your engine like pnp cams and etc.

tuned intake is probably just a gimmick to get people to spend more money on it meanwhile its worthless...just go with ebay man there is no difference at all
i bought an intake pipe for $1.25 off ebay, then an AEM filter from the local parts store, all together was like $30 for an AEM SRI with good fitment. dont buy the $150 one for something you'll get no gains from, when you can get the same sound and bling effect with less than 1/3 the price.
uhh....cold air is a waste of money on our cars. especially if you have an auto. dont waste 200 bucks on some pipe and a filter. just get a short ram. i have a AEM short ram and its good. i bet it works just as good as a AEM or Injen cold air.
Just gonna say what i did in a previous thread on this topic. Cheap intakes suck ***.
You need to be careful with the stuff you get on ebay, like intakes. A lot of the intakes sold on ebay are made of crappy materials, the materical can be thin metal which absorbs a lot of heat. The more expensive intakes tend to be made of better material which is much more resistant to absorbing heat. Then you have the fact that many ebay intakes aren't even the same diameter of the throttle body, and use the coupler as a reducer, which sucks. Not to mention the fit of ebay intakes tends to be crappy, versus brand name intakes which usually fit better. I'm a firm believer in the old saying, you get what you pay for.

i got a V2 (AEM) intake on my 2002 Ex (manual). it's a GREAT intake. i gained something cause my RPM's reach higher faster. and my car feels more jumpy and it's louder too!. my engine bay after 1st gear is loud and sounds really crazy!. it's awsome!. after i've been driving my car for a while and park it and turn it off. i get a cool (Hissssss) sound from the engine bay too. the V2 intake is a damn good intake. i reccomend it
. it's pricey though. if i ever sell my car or get rid of it. the V2 intake is comming with me LOL. thats why i kept the WHOLE stock intake assembly. just incase.

gots to remember tho, ebay intakes dont have carb, in cali theyre dicks bout it (so i hear) i havent got popped yet (knock on wood) but rockin a ebay one just for sound tho not really big on performance
Heard weapon r is probably the best gains as far as hp, but aem is good, overpriced, but good!!
Stay away from ebay, they are cheap and wouldnt recommend buying something that was developed without some research.
You could probably make a better one at home for cheap and slap a dryflow filter on it (AEM), just my 2 cents!!!
