kewl some good ideas. ive already shaved emblems and painted lights. maybe i should install some fogs. but i dont want cheap ones and i dont want my car to be riced out.
but yeah there is always something to do.
yesterday i actually made a switch for resetting my srs light which comes on every now and then. so when it does its just a couple flicks of a rocker switch then done.

you can do that whole throttle body thing where you loop the lines goin to the tb so it doesn't warm it and you get colder air, but that is so wack and is not worth it? you can tighten your throttle line a little to feel a little more response dude i dunno! you can GET A JOB ahaha
Cut the shaft on your shifter. Make a homemade short shifter.
Mount your rear turn sigal lights in your rear brakes and your rear brake lights in your rear turn signal.

lol. after looking at my car for about 30 minutes i found a couple things to do for really cheap. did some wire looming on the wires around my amp and in the engine bay. cleaned the engine bay a little. put a sunshade on my windshield so now i can see the clock on my cd deck. which is a pioneer6800. the way it was angled the sun line was right on the time lol. painted my spark plug cover. little things but it turned out ok. still clean lookin. no stickers of any kind. draws too much attention.
but yeah i have a job, make decent money too. just spent it all on bigger things for the ride. like the cd deck, amp, subs, and intake. i was just lookin for fun stuff to pass the time until next payday lol.
oh yeah. im gonna paint the break calipers once i get some new rims. ridin on steelies at the moment. gettin konig unknowns and some nitto tired very soon. then a drop. then maybe a lip kit, not sure yet though. maybe even a turbo one day.
but yeah there is always something that can be done for little to no money. just gotta be creative and smart about it. rice is not the answer.

1 Remove valve cover
2 sand valve cover with 100 grit sandpaper
3 clear valve cover and let dry
4 paint with sandable primer--let dry
5 repaint with KRYLON WRINKLE PAINT-follow directions on can
6 Let dry for 48 hours
7 install
okay heres a cheap one i did, worked nice too. **** an intake, cost like over 100$ for a good one. just go get a K&N Filter, replace your old filter with that, now unscrew your intake SILENCER (the whole big ol box) itll get you some nice power, and its still stock technically, if your paranoid of **** flyin in your intake it wont itll run into the filter first but if you want you can always put some Nylon (womens panty hose works) across the opening next to the filter and strap that down with a lil round thing(cant think of what their called but you can get em at autozone for like 1$) they have a screw on it and you tighten the screw and the size gets smaller. cost ya bout 50$ and you get almost the exact same power as the CAI. atleast for this car cause its so damn slow

I did my roof and emblems for about $10

And I can't decide if this is rice or nice

I mean I like the idea of having a red top but is it the same as having a type R decal on your car?

For about $20 worth of materials you can LED your center console. Also you can paint your interior trim (ie vents, cluster bezel, etc). Actually for $50 worth of cloth you can redo your door fabric and headliner too. Then there are aftermarket pedals, shift boot (even if you've got an auto), LED's or neon tubes in the vents or under the footwells for a door-activated glow. Trunk shocks can be done for well under a hundred bucks. There's tons of stuff you can mod tastefully for next to nothing.
