I want a loud clean sound from my car and am not too worried about the power increase, is it better for me to get a muffler instead of a full exhaust system? Will the muffler give me a "farting/ripping" and i have heard the term "drone" sound?

I dont have enough experience to tell you to go one of the other, but I can clear up what a drone is.

Most exhausts, from the way the engine itself sounds, make a deep humming sound at about 3000 rpm, partial throttle. Unfortunatly this is highway cruising conditions. You will have to put up with hearing the constant 'drone' of the exhaust. understand?

Ya, I get it now. A drone is different from a "farting/ripping" sound. THANKS!! Now I won't be all confused when I read that word.

universal/weld on mufflers tend to "fart"..... drone is really an opinion, some may find a particular muffler to drone during cruising while others may not.

if you want a nice sound get full cat recommended are hks and magnaflow iv heard them love the sound clips...look them up in search type exhaust sound clips should be able to find something

if you want loud as hell and a really really deep tone get the skunk2 megapower, mine is incredible!!

i say get the hks or skunk 2 megapower lik RHCP0801 said. those are the loudest out of all the exhaust. magnaflow might be a little quiet if you want loud.

I didn't mind my megan catback until i drove on the interstate for about 3hrs.

now I just have an axleback and header. good sound but sometimes i miss having a louder sound.. (in town only of course)

anytime I go for a long drive, I'm glad I cant hear my exhaust..

i have the wsI and it drones lightly during highway commute. but not loud..the way i like it



if youre looking for loud and not so fart-like, search up on the apexi n1, skunk2 catback, and magnaflows.
