i iam trying to find out how the apexi ws2 exhaust sounds on a 01-05 civic ex.

i have the wsI and its the same as version 2...just rolled tip and i think more stainless steel material?

my WS2 sounds good, quiet during low rpms, and you can hear it above 2.5k rpm. it makes a deep mellow sound, two thumbs up from me.

the ws2 is really quiet. i thought my tcs was quiet but when i got the ws2 i thought i had a stock exhaust on.

In my truly honest opinion, Thermal Research and design makes a SOLID catback for our cars. Its a full stainless design as compared to the WS2 which is only coated. Heres what it looks like out of the box:http://www.thermalrd.com/pics/b141c141.jpg

Its an awesome system, not ricey, not drone at highway speeds, and it looks awesome on the bumper. Heres some shots of it on my 05 EM2:

Fit and finish is awesome, nice low, deep tone. No rattle/rasp at any speed.

Yeah the WS2 has a horrid drone at 70-80mph at about 3K RPMS.

is this drone like loud?....or just plain freakin annoying? im trying to find a nice quiet exaust that is quiet yet loud when up in the rpms but doesn't have any problems.....aka droning or low hanging or rattling or rusting problems etc... if anyone can recommend one please let me know thanks

rsr is loud going around town 1-3k rpm, but on highway cruise its very much like stock. i have sound clip if anyone wants.

apex wsii sounds almost like stock, not much just a bit deeper, didnt know it droned tho.

thermal looks and sounds deep and loud, more bass sound than the rest.
