K&N FIPK II and HP Top portion header pass emissions test
Some people were wondering if the hp top portion header would pass an emissions test. It does. I have a K&N FIPK II intake and the HP top portion header and I passed my test today. There was no visual inspection in IL, however.
Just FYI. The FIPK II comes with a CARB exempt number. I don't think the header does (or if it does, I never got one).

there are some states that are starting to crack down as well. none as restrictive as cali but we all know that. and i do know why its called a carb #. that also shows that it is 50 emission compliant. he is telling us he did pass not asking if it will.

Rep Power: 283 florida is lucky they dont have emissions or anything there but here in jersey when they tested my car i failed cuz i didnt have a cat and pretty much running straight pipes so i jus swapped my oem header bak on for the day and went bak thru its not really a big deal cuz it only takes 10 mins to do
