HKS Hi-Power on '05 Sedan
Quick question: Just ordered the HKS Hi-Power and when looking at my bumper cover I realized it is not cut-out for the larger tip. Will this be an issue or will the hangers on the muffler lower it enough to clear the bumper cover? If it does hit...how do I overcome this without cutting the bumper cover and making it look like crap. I am thinking I would have to purchase a different bumper cover which is going to make this way more expensive than I had anticipated.
Thanks for thoughts, comments, suggestions.

it should clear, I have seen it before on a stock sedan rear bumper.
btw, I hope you dont have cops haggle about exhausts by you b/c just the look of it screams aftermarket.

Please post pics and any issues you may have had when installing it.
I have an 04 sedan, which I believe has the same bumper cover as yours, and I've been thinking of ordering one, but have yet to see any pics of one installed on a sedan.

new york cops are tough as **** and i have the skunk 2 exhaust which is the loudest one you can get and i havent been pulled over once in over a year so i dont think you will have a problem with that, unless illinois cops are d1cks
I wouldn't think it's too bad, cause IDK in Hawaii it was pretty strict, but since I moved up here to Indiana I have not had one problem. I have the HKS hi-power on my coupe I like it a lot. Good luck w/install and cops.

I still need to get some pictures up. It fit fine, just lower than the bumper cover. It does rattle like hell when I first start it. Seems like it needs to warm up a bit before the rattle goes away. I looked underneath and can not see anything that it comes in contact with that is causing the rattle noise. Starting to wonder if it's not internal...
how does it sound? someone rear ended my kakimoto exhaust so the insurance company got me the hks carbon ti exhaust? does anyone have pictures of it on their car? can u angle this exhaust up??
thnx

Ya post a pic of what you're talking about because it should clear the stock bumper... actually it should clear it by a lot.
I just sold my Hi-Power to a guy with a sedan and he had the Kaminari rear lip and it cleared without touching.
