LX exhaust

I was just curious as to what kind of full exhaust system i can put on an LX 5 speed civic, 2002. I see headers for EX models only, but i see catbacks for the LX models, the guy at the shop i deal with said as long as i get a whole EX system, it shouldnt matter. Anybody have experience with this?

EX & LX have different converter locations therefore, do an EX swap and you will get the better of the EX exhaust scenarios. PM me if you need details.

i was reading something about a high-flow cat instead of getting the headers, which is the better overall option?

any EX exhaust will fit an LX if you buy the Tanabe downpipe extension (Dezod carries them).

There are also LX specific exhausts listed on Dezods website

yuup, if you dont want to do the EX exhaust swap, get the extension.... that will leave you with a lot more choices.
