Revo Short shifter? good bad? your thoughts
hey everoyne, theres a revo short shifter for 01-05 civic's for sale here for $50 ( canadian) I was thinking of getting it. Has any1 here used one? is it good? bad? it also comes with poly bushings.
Let me know your thoughts, thanks.

It was the first mod I did to my car, and its still my favorite. The short throws are nice, can shift with just a short flick of wrist. Anybody that rides in my car always mentions my short shifter.
Get Cap Yodas bushing kit, and there is another, but I cant remember whos.
My only peev with the shifter is that I have an 03, and it has the arm rest. It kinda gets in the way since the shifter is lower than armrest. But you get use to it.

Yeah, i also have a Revo and I really liked the feel after installing it. Only thing to note though is that you probably should file down some of the plastic to make the spring fit better (if it's a Ver. 1). THere's a DIY w/ photos in here for that. You'll probably wanna get rid of hte stock shift **** while you're at it. I got the rsx base **** which is about 1/3 shorter than the stock shiftknob.

I just installed the SS yesterday, works perfectly. Love it, very easy install using a DIY i found on a members webpage.
I got the SS brand new, but used from a friend here in Vancouver BC Canada. Had Kumo(thats what he said??) Aluminum bushings with it.
Took me all of 40 mins to install, very nice feel and sexily short throws.
Highly reccomended.
