I just got my Megan race 4-1 header and there cat-less test pipe. And when i put the header on the test pipe it does not line up right and the two bolts that go on the test pipe are to big 2 go in the header screws... also i only got gaskest for header to block and end of test pipe to my exhaust pipe... any one know anything about this??

ok... does the header bolt right up to the test pipe? if so then i recived a wrong part cuz the outlet on the header does not fit right on the inlet on the test pipe.. i have a web cam i can take some pics of needed...

the megan 4-1 is a shorty so u need this test pipe to run it. mines fits like a glove so far but just test fitted until i get magnaflow cat on the test pipe instead of just having a resonator. Did you get the combo, if not then it might be the wrong part(s), if u get pics i know everyone with an exhaust could help

yeah i got that part.. im gunna take pics right now and show what i got and whats nto fitin... also my head gaskest came all bent and crap and i also dident get a gasket to go between the header and test pipe..

thats how my cat back came notice the test pipe in the middle isn't L shaped plus it didn't bolt right up to either the header nor the mid pipe on the left.

the header's outlet has two bolts, test pipe had two => two bolt which didn't bolt up to the mid pipe inlet which is 3 bolt as seen on left pipe at the bottom, then to axle back

well i have an 03 ex also... and on the paper that came in the box said its the megan raceing header: civic 01-UP ex, and the megan raceing high flow pipe 01-03 civic ex.. hmmmm

Damn this really puts me off. I was going to get the same exact thing, from Megan Racing, and hook it up to my 04 DX. Now after hearing about this problem, I am a little iffy. I hope you guys find the solution so I can do this.

wow man.. that's a pretty dang huge bolt hole size difference on the header and on the test pipe. sheesh.

i found it out.............. the hole size on the test pipe that enters the header is that big on the stock on also, you use the stock bolts/spring things to conected it all and it fits fine. except 1 problem i have a small gas leek comeing out but its getting fixed, i also mesed up my o2s but its all getting fixed pics when its all done will be ^^
