Exhaust.
Anyone have, or have ever used the magnaflow race series muffler? im wanting to buy a muffler, and have custom piping put on. so ya, i heard they sound good... not a raspy sound to it... but im not 100% sure on that.... anyone know?

but i did hear some stuff about those mufflers or at least some type of magnaflow one, i heard it sounds good, not that fart can sound or anything so i think that might be a good idea if you want a magnaflow exhaust otherwise theres better brands than that out there but whatever suits you best

Rep Power: 369 The sound of an exhaust isn't completely dependant on just the muffler.... the piping can affect it as well.
Cleanest way to get sound is use good piping... 304 Stainless steel manderal bent. Use a magnaflow resonator too.
If you use regular steel piping and have it crush bent it might sound like **** even if you put an nice muffler on at the end.

Rep Power: 0 ya the pipe that my friend is bending for me... is gonna b... 2.25 or 2.50... whatever the inlet is on the muffler... is what we are gonna make the pipe be from the cat back... and ya they do mandrel bends...

Rep Power: 811 i have the rsr exhaust (no resonator) and it sounds real good. its mostly the muffler that determines sound. pipes just carry the air, while the resonator and muffler make it quiet.

Rep Power: 284 I have the magnaflow cat back...it looks like the one on the top left. Its sounds good and deep but thats only because it comes with the resinator. Im not sure about any of their bolt on mufflers tho, but I love my cat-back.

Thats actually the same exhaust muffler I was lookin at on ebay. I actually think its cheaper on ebay coz its 89.88 shipped. I do plan on doing the same thing as u with the cutom piping instead of paying that much for a catback.
