know where to get a d17a2 head for an lx swap?

does anyone know where you can get a d17a2 v-tec head so i can swap it out with the my lx head? i've looked around and the only one i have been able to find was on ebay and i really don't know if i want to trust ebay for a part like that. so i was just wondering if anyone knew of a site to go to to get one or had any other suggestions on how to obtain one. thanks.

Did you look at "for sale" section?
You can also start new thread at "want to buy" section...

why not just go for a k-series motor swap?

you can try car-parts.com and just look for engine cylinder head or junkyarddog.com. Hope that helps

Do a search for local salvage shops/yards in your area.... when i got mine... i almost wanted the whole engine (but they wanted to much) But they did let me walk away with the side mounts, head cover, and spark plug cover, which actually says "Honda VTEC"... i might keep the old one on to fool stupid people.

Not everyone can afford a whole swap, money or time wise, but this has been discussed before. Sure it only gives you a small boost... but after that you have alot more options of modding/upgrading after that. Especially if your going from a DX like i am. If anyone is interested in this you should look at Xproductions DIY on the swap because there are many great reasons for the swap.
